You are going to bid on ONE(1) FULL-FRAME(35mm) COLOR PHOTO SLIDE in a KODAK KODACHROME 2″ X 2″ Cardboard Mount from the Collection of and was Taken by a U. S. ARMY Serviceman(CAPTAIN-MAJOR) who served as a UH-1 ‘HUEY’ HELICOPTER GUNSHIP & INSTRUCTOR PILOT during his 2 Tours of Duty during the Vietnam War while serving with the UTILITY TACTICAL TRANSPORT HELICOPTER COMPANY(UTTHCO), known as the ‘FIRST WITH GUNS’, at different locations and times between 1962-1965. *****THE UTTHCO WAS THE FIRST ARMED HELICOPTERS TO SERVE IN VIETNAM after arriving in early 1962!!***** They were based out of TAN SON NHUT Airbase in SAIGON. The III CORPS Area was the Main AO(Area of Operations). No need for a description, as photo above shows it all! Slide is dated MAY 64. *****Slide has Nothing written on it.***** THIS IS SLIDE #19!
*****The PILOT was a 1960 Graduate of TEXAS A & M University. Served 25 Years in the Army. Retired as a ‘BIRD’ COLONEL!! He was from Texas. Born January 5, 1938. Passed away May 12, 2020.*****
The Slide is ALMOST 60 YEARS OLD, and MAY/MAY NOT contain small blemishes/smudges/scratches/dots on it; May have slight fading of color; and May/May Not be in the best of focus. YOU be the judge as to condition and focus, as you please see scan for a more in-depth look at content & condition, as Slide has been magnified up close for detail. Slide has not been cleaned, nor touched up. If so desired, you may do this upon winning! Do to the nature of ‘SOME INDIVIDUALS’ duplicating Slides, and requesting a refund, PLEASE NOTE…there will be NO REFUNDS on this item!!
