Antique Vintage Trumpet w/ Original Case
I’ll start with I know absolutely nothing on musical instruments or how to work them. Selling as is.
As for the material the trumpet is I’m not sure but a magnet does NOT attract to it. Signs of natural aged patina & some aged dust. Needs a good polish/cleaning. It is engraved on the horn part United Stated MKORIOT (???) France (photo 8). I’m not exactly sure what that MKORIOT is. I tried searching but came up emptyhanded. The 3 keys have mother of pearl top (photo 4). When I push 2 of them down they come back up on their own, however the one does not and stays in the down position (photo 7). There are 2 spots where there is some denting in the pipes (photo 6).  There is a number 9103 on the key part (photo 5).
The mouthpiece that was with it is marked Cauffman 1K PAT PEND. The piece that holds the music sheet is bent. (photo 2).
The case is in very bad shape. Has tears, old black tape holding it together at spots, some holes, scratches, dust, discoloration, handle is falling apart. The hinges look like brass. Inside red velvet is also in rough shape, tears, discoloration. There is a mildew smell to the case and what looks like old mold/mildew at spots on the outside of the case.
I have not attempted to polish or clean case or trumpet.
Case measures 20 3/4″ long. Total combined weight 5 pounds 4 ounces (prior to packaging)
