All vehicles are sold in “as-is/where-is” condition and no warranty/guarantee – expressed or implied – exists with this vehicle.BODY/SHEET METAL: It is important to note that Montana, while a state with four seasons, has a very dry climate with low relative humidity. Additionally, Montana does not use salt on its winter roadways. This translates to vehicles with sound undercarriages and very solid sheet metal. This is a very solid vehicle with only a couple areas of concern. The photos will show a very small amount of rust in the lower section of the cowl on both the driver and passenger sides. As for the floors, the area in the front (toe board) was originally wood and is no longer there. The sheet metal floor pans under the seat – front and back – should be replaced. The subrails and infrastructure of the body are very solid with no rust through – a wire wheel will quickly reveal very solid steel. The roof – originally a cloth insert – is in need of replacement, but the top sheet metal above the doors and windshield are all solid and in great shape. The remaining sheet metal – doors, door bottoms, rocker panels, fenders, running boards, splash aprons, hood, – is extremely solid with only minor dents/dings. The doors close extremely solid and we are happy to provide video to that effect. The radiator shell is complete. The headlights are missing.FRAME/CHASSIS: This sedan sits on its original 1927 Ford Model T chassis. The chassis and its components are complete, but are in need of updating/restoration. As referenced above, no salt is used on winter roadways in Montana. As a result, the frame and its components are very solid showing only surface rust.ENGINE/TRANSMISSION/DRIVETRAIN: While the engine, transmission, and rear end are complete, this vehicle does not run or drive. It rolls and steers smoothly and would be easily loaded with a winch.LEGALITIES AND SALE DETAILS: This vehicle has a clear Montana Title and a notarized Bill of Sale on official Montana Department of Motor Vehicles form will be provided. This vehicle is being sold in “as-is/where-is” condition. No warranty/guarantee – expressed or implied – exist with this vehicle. A deposit in the amount of $515.00 ($500 deposit + $15 processing fee) is due within 24hrs of sale close. Payment in full is due and appropriate time for payment clearance afforded prior to the vehicle being released for transport. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. Montana Vintage Tin, LLC will attend and offer limited assistance during vehicle pickup/loading.
